The Ericsson T28 was launched in 1999 and amazed the world with its incredibly slim profile: only 15 mm when closed (a record for the time). Its elegant lines and innovative battery made it a coveted item.
Design and Materials
Polycarbonate body, backlit keypad, flip cover to protect the keyboard. Length when open 147 mm, when closed 95 mm. Weight: only 83 grams.

- Lithium polymer battery (very thin) with 500 mAh

- Infrared, calendar, calculator
- Polyphonic ringtones (downloadable via infrared)

Common Issues and Solutions
- Battery not holding a charge: Original batteries are mostly dead. Modern compatible batteries are available.
- Hinge broken: It is delicate. Can be replaced or repaired with glue and patience.
- Keys not working: Clean the contacts.
Collector's Value
The Ericsson T28 is quite rare. A working specimen, with an intact flap and integrated battery, can be worth between 80 and 200 euros. With the original box and accessories, the value is even higher.
